The Beginning
Fern Garden began with a simple yet profound inspiration. When my mom was introduced to natural products by a thoughtful colleague, it sparked a journey toward creating gentle, effective skincare products. Driven by a mother’s love and curiosity, my mom delved into the art of soap making.
In 2004, my mom made her first batch of soap using a humble crock pot, facing the challenges of working with natural ingredients and perfecting her recipes. Despite initial hurdles, my mom's passion for crafting soaps flourished. Experimenting with different fragrances, herbs, and spices, my mom transformed her hobby into a thriving business.
Fern Garden is Founded!
By 2009, “Fern Garden Naturals” was officially established. From local craft fairs and farmers markets to small businesses, Fern Garden Naturals quickly became known for its high-quality, natural products. My mom’s joy in giving soaps as gifts reflected her dedication to sharing the benefits of her creations with others. Eventually, my mom paused her soap-making endeavors to pursue her career in teaching, a field where she also made a significant impact.
Fern Garden Today
Now, in 2024, I have taken on the challenge of restarting Fern Garden, continuing the legacy of simplicity, quality, and care. Today Fern Garden continues to uphold the values that inspired my mom from the very beginning.
